Classes

I'm not a single mom. Is the Thriving Postpartum Course still relevant to me?

Absolutely! All the information in this course will be relevant to you. There is more emphasis on setting up a solid support system-- and backups and more backups-- than a generic postpartum class. Even when you have a partner it is always good to have a solid support team in place.

Should I take the live or self-paced Thriving Postpartum course?

The live course is best for people who like the accountability of a consistent schedule. It is also a great place to connect with other single parents by choice. You're able to have your questions answered in real time. The self-paced course is best for those with unpredictable schedules or those who like to work on their own.

My baby is three months old. Am I too late to take Sleep 101?

Not at all! Sleep 101 covers sleep through the first year of life. There is also extensive time for questions so you are able to ask about any sleep struggles that you're currently facing.

Is there a self-paced Sleep 101?

Not yet, but it is coming soon!

Individual Sessions

What is the benefit of virtual postpartum sessions?

These sessions are great for people who have plenty of in-person support-- plenty of people to help with meals and household chores-- and would still like the education and emotional support of a postpartum doula. These sessions are usually spent talking about how postpartum is going, answering questions and problem-solving any issues that have come up.

What is the benefit of virtual lactation sessions?

Virtual lactation sessions are great for people who want prenatal education, want to make a plan (e.g. pumping schedule when returning to work), or need reassurance. These sessions are not good if you need an oral assessment or weighted feed.
